While savoring matcha and wagashi in Fukagawa Hagi tea bowls, listen to the stories of Hagi ware makers who created the tableware and Sae Ichidosumi, a Japanese confectionery artist. Meanwhile, Mr. Sumi was right in front of her as she finished Japanese sweets to match Fukagawa Hagi's tableware. Enjoy a moment of refreshment with each maker—tableware and sweets—while feeling the river's flow.
