About the Kishu Tokugawa family offering dishes served in the tea room

A "tribute dish" served only to the lord. Based on a recipe found at Chohoji Temple, the Bodhi temple of the Tokugawa family, the "grilled mackerel cedar plate" with the scent of cedar wood is reproduced to reproduce the exquisite menu that remains in the Kishu Tokugawa family.
This is the first time that over 400 years have passed that you can experience the same cuisine as the shrine.
The ingredients are from Wakayama and do not use chemical seasonings.
At a private teahouse near Wakayama Castle, enjoy a special luxury!
For those who think that kaiseki may be a little voluminous, we also offer mini kaiseki dishes that are beautifully served on 8 small plates.
